Premier College Combine at Copa Americana

This College Combine was geared towards high school aged male & female players who wanted to play college soccer.

Session Format

The Clinic Session included a “warm-up”, training sessions, and small sided games. The Clinic was conducted by college soccer coaches.  Throughout the process, the college coaches participating talked to the players about the importance of academics and the need to balance various aspects of college life to be successful in the classroom and on the field. The Clinic concluded with a question and answer discussion with players, parents and college coaches about the recruiting process as well as what it takes to play in college.

Based on the number of participants per sessions, the coach may make adjustments, however a typical session included the following:

• 2 / 45-minute College-Style Training sessions with a College Coach
• 8v8 games observed by other college coaches
• Question and answer discussion about College Soccer
• Player profiles were provided to all College coaches in attendance.
